~PART 4~
[Part 1] [Part 2] [Part 3]

She quickly grabbed the jar, with only half of what she started with left. She carefully put the leftovers in her pocket and made her way back to the Kellys.
After what seemed like centuries, she finally arrived to see Ann sat on one side of the couch while Jimmy was on the opposite side. Jimmy started nibbling on her nails with anticipation.
'Should I approach her before Kira comes back? Then I'll scratch her eyes out and get Ann for myself' Jimmy pondered and let out an audible giggle.
"Ok, you've been acting really strange. I've wanted to set things straight with you... You alright?" Ann asked, glaring at her friend.
'Oh my gosh... she's talking to me. Act cool. Act cool!' Jimmy's heart raced.
Ann scooted near Jimmy's side of the sofa. Jimmy felt pressured and turned to her, made eye contact and bluntly stated "I don't like how close you are sitting to me."
"See Jimmy, this is what I'm talking about. One minute, you're totally in love with me or something, the next you're talking to me like I'm a madwoman. What's wrong with you? Need a doctor?" Ann asked nicely.
But Jimmy persisted. "I don't like how close you are sitting to me."
"Huh?" Was all Ann could say.
"I DON'T LIKE HOW CLOSE YOU ARE SITTING TO ME!"
"Jimmy... chill man. It's alright." Ann backed off.
"THIS IS THE UNIVERSAL SIGN OF STOP. NEVER DROP THE HAND." Jimmy advised himself and stuck his hand in front of him. He slowly got up and kept the hand up for Ann to see. He gently walked away towards the stairs.

Jessica raised an eyebrow in confusion, still watching the little argument at a safe distance. 'What an idiot' she thought as she saw her chance and followed Jimmy towards the stairs. She sprinkled the remains of the fairy dust on Jimmy, praying desperately that this time, it would work.

Jimmy felt like a gust of new wind swirled around him. It made him feel easy and free-spirited. The pink fairy dust poured all over him, from his head to toe. He sneezed in reflex from the dust, suddenly forgetting everything that happened. He looked around in confusion and in seconds, he resumed back to normal.
He saw pink dust all over him and sighed, not knowing exactly why there was pink dust on him in the first place. This must be an early sign of Alzheimer. He didn't bother trying to make sense of it as he walked down the stairs, also forgetting why he was heading up in the first place. He looked around and found Ann in the living room, staring at him funny.
"Hey Ann?" Jimmy swung by the kitchen and tossed an apple to Ann.
Ann raised an eyebrow in confusion. It was like he had two personalities. One minute, he was all giggly, second minute, he's all-protective and now he's... well... rather normal. Fine, he had three personalities.
Jimmy noticed the pale colour on Ann's face. "What's wrong? You alright?"
"I'm fine, but what's wrong with you? You just told me off and five minutes ago, you were all giggly. Are YOU okay?" Ann slowly spoke as if Jimmy couldn't understand.
"Yeah... I'm fine... but I can't remember what happened for... the last couple hours." Jimmy shook his head absentmindedly and reached over to grab an apple from the fruit basket nearby.
"What was the last thing you remember?" Ann looked mortified.
"The prank we did on Angelo with the phone and the pillow fight. Why?" Jimmy pondered.
"You were acting kind of strange after that." Ann tried to put Jimmy's prior behavior into delicate, less harsh words, rather then "Damn boy, you were screwed!"
"Really? All I know is pink dust, kind of like confetti, was all over me when I was on the stairs and I don't remember anything before that." Jimmy stated, taking a big bite the apple.
"Well... as long as you resume back to normal, that's good." Ann finished off, slowly inching away from Jimmy.

"Whew! That was the only good thing I've done today! Maybe good stuff will start happening now!" Jessica sighed with relief, but quickly frowned when she realized another problem. "Uh oh... I gotta put the last of the fairy dust to good use," she said as she realized that there was only a fourth of fairy dust left.
She pouted as she read the instructions on the bottom of the jar "JUST A SPRINKLE WILL NOT CURE, AND ONE MUST SNEEZE AFTER THE DUST IS APPLIED, OR NOTHING WILL HAPPEN. AT LEAST HALF A JAR HEALS A MORTAL. Jessica sighed again and turned her attention back to the odd people who lived in the house.

"Here you go baby, eat it up now, Huns" Angelo smiled as he fed Finborr goose liver pâté.
Jimmy heard Angelo's cooing voice. 'Kira must be here' he thought. He approached the kitchen and surprised Angelo behind the counters.
"Ha! Gotcha! I knew you and... FINBORR?" Jimmy's eyes widen as big as saucers.
"Jim! You're going to scare my Finborr" Angelo cuddled Finborr in his arms.
"Wait... what is wrong with this picture? You hate Finborr" Jimmy pointed out.
"I can't believe I ever hated something this precious." Tears welded up in Angelo's eyes.
"I'll leave you two alone." Jimmy shook his head and knew something was wrong. He headed upstairs to rest his head, deciding that a nap would probably help.

Suddenly, the doorbell rang. Ann gleefully pranced her way to the door and opened it. There, she saw the ever-so-beautiful Kira before her, beaming brightly. Kira was wearing a one strap black tank top with khakis coloured pants. She shone a smile over him.
"Hi... decided yet?" Ann asked with anxiety.
"I have to talk to you." Kira tugged her sweater and headed inside.
Ann walked Kira to the living room and sat close together. She rested her long lingering fingers on Kira's soft delicate hands. Ann couldn't help but smile, at the sight of her beautiful princess.
"Ann... you've been great to me. I don't know how I can ever thank you for being there for me... "Kira began.
"... But. There is always a but right?" Ann quickly took her hands away.
"If I'm dating you, I wouldn't just be dating YOU. I'd be dating Angelo's fans too. I can't stand the pressure of being known as "A slut who picked up Angelo's girlfriend." That would be wrong... except for the beautiful part."
Kira had sadness in her hazel coloured eyes.
"How do you know how the fans will react? Just because I've dated Angelo, doesn't mean the media will take it in different ways. And the fans will be happy because they will have their Angelo back. Be with me... please?" Kira pleaded with his transparent green eyes.
Ann couldn't help but nod. Kira felt used and betrayed with Angelo... but with Ann? It was almost like a fairy tale… and new experience. Tears formed in her eyes and she leaned towards Ann delicious thin lips. She craved for the sweetness and the tenderness of it. Ann leaned to meet her lips. They both felt free as they touched.

Jessica felt a warm smile creep to her face as she watched Ann and Kira kiss... it was like a soap opera. Suddenly remembering that her duty was to return things back to normal, she quickly held her breath, closed her eyes and blindly threw a fourth of the leftover fairy dust onto the unaware couple.
The fairy dust fell upon Ann and Kira like drifting snow. It was almost as pretty as a fairy tale. It was thought to be beautiful when...
The pink fairy dust fell upon aNN and Kira like drifting snow, breaking the Cupid's spell on the two without warning. Kira opened her eyes as she felt a twitch coming to her nose, and without warning, she sneezed right on Ann while still locked to her lips. Ann quickly backed away, but before she could react to the snot on her face, she herself sneezed in reflex.

Both of them blinked blankly at each other as Ann wiped off her face. A long moment passed by, with no reaction from either of them. Looks of pure disgust slowly crawled to their faces as they realized what had just happened.

"EEEEEWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW!! KIRA JUST FRENCHED ME!!!!!!!!!!!!" Ann screamed in horror as she started spitting out the horrible taste in her mouth. It took all of her power to keep herself from vomiting all over the floor.
"MAITE COOOOOTIES! AHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!" Kira shrieked she shot up and ran towards the washroom to rinse her mouth thoroughly.
It was a typical scene you'd expect in a kindergarten playground, but of course, that's not the setting here. Ann ran right into the kitchen and vomited in the sink, in front of a still confused Jimmy.
"Ann!" Jimmy exclaimed as he rushed over to his friend to see if she was ok. "What the hell happened?"
"I kissed... the witch... a girl…" she complained as she stood up shakily, and felt the urge to throw-up again at even the mere thought of it.
"Who?? Is it Kira???"
"Don't say it, please" Ann asked, her face slightly green. She clutched her stomach in pain as she stumbled away from the sink, groaning in pain.
That was when Paddy ran towards Jimmy and Ann, with Finborr trailing behind him and Angelo chasing after Finborr.
"What happened? I heard screaming from Kira and Ann and…" Paddy skidded to a stop when he caught the sight of Ann, a tint of sea green, clutching his stomach. "Girl, you look like you swallowed a toad" he pointed out.
"Uuuuggghh, shoot me now..." Ann pleaded as she collapsed onto the floor with a dull thud.
Jimmy frowned as he walked over to Ann's limp body, and nudged him with is foot. "Ann, are you still alive?" he asked. Unfortunately, he got no reply.
"Poke her some more" Paddy suggested.
Jimmy knelt down next to his fallen friend and poked her on the shoulder gingerly. "You think we should get her to a hospital?" Jimmy asked, when Ann still didn't show any signs of intelligence or life.
"Nah, she'll be fine" Angelo reassured as he picked up Finborr and hugged him tightly. The poor dog whimpered and turned to Paddy, staring at him with humongous black eyes, pleading for a saviour.
"Angelo, keep you'd better keep that dog on a leash, before he starts humping my leg again. I swear, I'll fry the dog for lunch if he does ANYTHING near me" Paddy warned, stepping far away from the both of them.
"But my Finborr just wants to kiss you!" Angelo cooed as he walked towards Paddy, cradling the little pug in his arms. Paddy backed away cautiously, not letting Angelo and his evil dog come anywhere near him.
"ANGELO! PUT DOWN THAT DOG AND COME HERE NOW!" a loud shriek was heard. Angelo jumped from the sudden noise, and accidentally dropped Finborr to the floor. Fortunately, the dog was quick-witted and landed on its feet gracefully. Angelo spun around to see Kira storming towards him angrily, steam spurting from her ears.
"ANGELO GABRIEL KELLY! I heard you said that you didn't care if I broke up with you. Well, that's WRONG!" she screamed as she marched right up to him and glared him right in the eye. Angelo shriveled up, suddenly terribly afraid of the loud and scary girlfriend.
"You know what?!" she continued scolding. "I broke up with you and kissed Ann to make you jealous. And seeing that you were nothing but that, I want to end this relationship PERMENANTLY this time" she yelled.

Jessica, who was still standing by saw her chance and sprinkled some of the pink dust over Angelo. Almost sure that it will work this time, she smiled as she watched the dust fall gracefully over his head like rain.

Angelo took a deep breath, and sneezed as Kira continued her pointless babbling. Everything seemed to blank out from his brain as he blinked and adjusted his eyes on her, talking quickly and with many hand motions.
"... so I want you to sign a contract clearly stating that everything of mine will be returned to me by July 23rd, and vice versa" she concluded, smiling sweetly and folding her hands together in front of her.
That was when Angelo leaned forward and kissed her without warning. Kira was about to push back, but hesitated. Instead, she closed her eyes and relaxed. She missed the feel of his lips against hers... she missed the sound of his voice... she missed... him.

Jessica jumped up in joy to see that her fairy dust worked again. She turned around to see Paddy running frantically, trying to escape the yelping Finborr who was trailing shortly behind him with his short legs. Deciding to finally put Paddy out of his misery, she reached into the jar to pull out some more pink dust, when she didn't feel any powder underneath her fingertips. Looking down in the jar, she dropped her jaw when she realized that the jar was empty. She turned the jar upside down and shook it, but nothing came out.
Her heart started to race. This was it... she was going to Hell for sure. Jessica was on the brink of fainting, she felt a sudden presence of someone familiar. She spun around, and her face lit up as she saw a confused David walk in with a lei hanging from his neck.
"DAAAAAAAAVID!" she screamed as she ran and jumped on the puzzled cupid. David stepped back to keep his balance, and coughed.
"Yo...You're... cho... king... me.." he said in between breaths. Jessica blushed deeply as she let go.
"How was your vacation?" she asked politely, trying to avoid any questions arising from David.
"It was good, but... what happened?" he questioned suspiciously.
Jessica hid the empty jar behind her back quickly. "Nothing. Nothing at all," she lied.
David rolled his eyes in disbelief. "Girl, I'm a cupid, I know everything that happens involving love."
She sulked and stared at the ground guiltily. "I... sorta... tried to do your job, but missed every time I tried to hit someone with the arrow and people fell in love with the wrong things..." she mumbled.
He sighed, turning around just in time to see Paddy run past him frantically, screaming "MAD DOG! MAD DOG!" in terror. Finborr trailed behind him with pink hearts in his eyes, panting happily.
"Lemme guess... the dog's in love with the poor fellow" he sighed.
Jessica nodded, never tearing her eyes away from the floor. David rolled up the sleeves of his white sweater and skillfully swept up Finborr as the tiny dog ran past him. It tried to squirm out of the cupid's hands, but was unsuccessful as it whined sadly. David stroked it softly, scratching it on the head affectionately.

Suddenly, Finborr let out a tiny dog sneeze. David put the dog down on the floor again, and Finborr blinked curiously. It cocked its head to the side in confusion, and trotted off in another direction. David turned his attention to Jessica, standing behind him, jaw almost dropped to the floor. "How... how'd you do that?!" she stuttered, shocked. All David had to do was pet him, and the spell was broken. Jessica had to find every spell in the book to cure the others.
"Cupid's touch" he smiled. Jessica pouted and folded her arms across her chest, disappointed. "So... is that it?" he asked her.
Jessica shrugged. "I think so. Everything's back to normal! I'm exhausted, let's go back home" she suggested.
David agreed as he stepped over Ann's unconscious body, walked through the kitchen with Jessica by his side, and past Angelo and Kira.
Just as David and Jessica left, Joey slid into the room wearing a pair of leather pants and a black beater. "DAMN, I am sooooo sexy!" he boasted as he checked his reflection in a pocket mirror, slicking his hair back smoothly.

"You ever have a feeling like we forgot something?" Jessica asked him as soon as they arrived back to David's home, which was a total disaster from Jessica's rummaging.
"...No" he replied as he scowled at the incredible mess. He rolled his eyes tiredly, and turned around again as he exited his home.
"Where you going?" Jessica asked innocently. David stopped in his tracks, and but didn't turn around to face his angel friend.
"I'm going back on vacation. Coming home back to this mess really ruins my mood... again" he sighed as he continued off again.
Jessica screamed bloody murder. "NOOOOOOOOO!!! Not again! You can't! We've been though this before!" she argued, resisting the urge to pull out her hair in frustration.
David shrugged. "You did a good job substituting for me... do it again" he suggested. "The organizer's on the table, just press the blue button to see who's your next job. If you have any problems... don't contact me. Please" he said as he left.
She tried to stop him, but he was already long gone. Jessica sighed as she stormed over to the fluffy white couch in the corner, and flopped down. She immediately shot back up when she felt a sharp pain on her bottom. Rubbing her butt gingerly, she frowned when she realized she had sat on an action figure.
Rolling her eyes, she realized that stubborn David won't come back, and that she needed to fill in for him again. She carefully made her way across the room to the table, avoiding stray love potions and such scattered on the ground. Picking up the organizer, she tucked a strand of hair behind her ear as she read the next name off the list:

Maite Star Kelly
.........
