Jimmy opened the sliding door for Michelle and she walked in. Jimmy walked in behind her and shut the door.
"Look!" Michelle whispered. "They're so cute!" She pointed to the bed where Paddy and I were both fast asleep.
"Are they really asleep?" Jimmy asked.
"I think so!" Michelle said. "Should we wake them up?"
"I should, but I don't want to. And I don't want to leave him here." Jimmy sighed.
"Aww, just give them another half-hour." Michelle said.
"What time is it?" Jimmy asked.
Michelle checked her watch. "4:15."
"Joey's gonna kill us, but okay, a half-hour is all he gets." Jimmy said, grinning. "I'm never gonna hear the end of how he 'slept' with her."
Michelle laughed and picked up the TV remote and started flipping through channels. She and Jimmy were lying side by side on her bed. She handed the remote to Jimmy. He settled on Viva and set the remote down.
Michelle rested her head on her arms and within minutes her breathing became deep and even. Jimmy turned on his side and watched her sleep. He smiled to himself. She seemed so great. He had told her everything about his breakup with Lonnie and she really listened. And he trusted her right from the start, which was an unusual thing for him. Her realness proved he could trust her.
Jimmy sighed and changed the channel, trying to find something interesting. He needed to stay awake and was trying to fight off sleep. However, he was unsuccessful and the remote dropped from his hand to the floor as he fell asleep.

I was startled awake by the sound of two different phones ringing. It took me a few moments to recollect the events of the previous night and then I realized that the phones belonged to Paddy and Jimmy.
Jimmy groggily reached into his jacket pocket and pulled out his phone. Paddy was in a deep sleep and wasn't waking up. I saw his phone on the table beside my bed and I grabbed it.
"Hello?" I asked.
"Who is this?" A male voice asked.
"I'm Stacey!" I said. "Do you wanna talk to Paddy?"
"Yes. Who are you?" He asked again.
"Stacey. Just a second, he's still asleep." I said. Half awake, I didn't realize how suggestive my comments were.
I looked over at Paddy and saw he was awake. I smiled and handed him the phone. Michelle had woken up as well and was sitting up, rubbing her eyes.
Paddy stood up and went to finish his call in another part of the room.
"No, no, no, Joey!" Jimmy was saying. "They invited us in and we started talking and we all fell asleep… Yeah, I know we're late… Paddy's on the phone explaining things to Angelo, I imagine… okay, we'll be there as soon as possible." He hung up the phone and ran his fingers through his hair. "We're in so much trouble. We're supposed to be at the TV station right now." he said to Michelle and me.
I looked at the clock.
"It's only 6:30" I said.
"The show is at 8" Jimmy said. "We're supposed to be there for sound check right now."
"Oh my gosh!" Michelle exclaimed. "We are so sorry! Is there anything we can do? This is all our fault!"
Paddy hung up his phone and shook his head at Jimmy. "We're dead."
"I know!" Jimmy said.
They threw on their coats and put on their shoes.
"Please let us come with you." I pleaded. "We helped get you into this mess. Please let us help you get out."
"I don't know what you could do!" Paddy said. "We're late and we can't fix that." Paddy said.
"Come on!" Michelle said. "We'll be there to let everyone know that you're telling the truth."
They opened the door to leave.
"I guess we'll have to introduce them sometime." Jimmy said. "Yeah, come with us."
Michelle put on her shoes and I threw a change of clothes into a bag and we headed out the door.

Michelle and I stood behind Paddy and Jimmy, who were in make-up, as Patricia and Joey continued to lecture them.
"This kind of irresponsible behavior is just what we don't need on this tour. What were you thinking? That you'd spend the night with these girls and no one would care where you were?" Patricia said.
"I know what you're implying, but nothing happened. We talked, that's all!" Paddy said, getting red in the face.
"Paddy, I can't believe you are so immature!" Joey said. "And you Jimmy, you are older than him. Where did you have your head? Girls, could you please excuse us?"
Michelle and I nodded silently and we walked to another area backstage.
"You girls must really be something." a voice said from behind us. We turned to see two other people I hadn't met sitting on a couch.
"What do you mean by that?" Michelle asked.
Angelo laughed. "I mean Paddy and Jimmy are never late for anything, so the two of you must have been an incredible distraction."
"Nothing happened!" I said defensively.
"We know. I was just teasing." Angelo said.
"We're sorry for 'distracting' them, then!" Michelle said.
"It's okay." Angelo said. "There's no real harm done. Anyway, I'm Angelo." He said.
"My name is Stacey." I said.
"And I'm Michelle." Michelle said.
"Do you know who we are?" The girl who sat next to Angelo spoke up.
"I have no clue!" I said.
"Angelo and Maite, right?" Michelle asked. They nodded. "I have to tell you, I love your music."
"Well, thank you very much!" Angelo said.
Paddy and Jimmy walked over from make-up.
"Can we talk to you two?" Jimmy asked us seriously.
"Sure!" I said. "What's wrong?"
"Nothing's wrong, but Joey thinks it would be best if you two weren't here!" Jimmy said.
Michelle nodded.
"We understand. All we've done is cause trouble. Um, will we ever get to see you again?"
"How about tomorrow night?" Paddy asked.
"I thought you had four concerts in a row." I said.
"We do!" Jimmy said. "But if you want, we have a pair of front row tickets and backstage passes for you guys."
"Thanks!" Michelle said. "Thanks a lot."
I smiled. "Yeah, thanks."
"Are you okay?" Paddy asked me.
"Yeah, it's just that I really enjoyed spending time with you guys, and that probably won't happen again." I said, looking down.
"Stacey, we're on tour." Paddy gently explained.
"We're doing four shows here in London and then we go to Paris to do four more. All our free time is going to be filled with interviews, meet and greets, and autograph signings."
"I know!" I sighed. "I understand. I guess we'll see you tomorrow night, then."
"Right, we'll see you!" Jimmy said. They escorted us to the door and Michelle and I went back to our hotel to watch the show.

"Well that was awkward." Paddy said.
"No kidding. I've never tried to appease a friend with tickets before. It didn't feel right." Jimmy shook his head.
"I wish there was something else we could do." Paddy sighed. "Too bad they can't hang with us while they're here."
"Why couldn't they?" Jimmy asked. "They're backpacking, and Michelle told me they don't really have a set itinerary."
Paddy's eyes lit up.
"I just got the best idea! We need to find Melinda."

The concert was awesome, and during the song 'I feel love' Paddy and Jimmy were obviously having trouble keeping a straight face with Michelle mimicking their song from the front row. I kept trying to catch Paddy's eye, but whenever we made eye contact he would immediately look away.
To our surprise, at the end of the concert Bobby, one of their bodyguards rushed us backstage and onto their tour bus. As we stepped on, a woman with dark, curly hair greeted us.
"Hi girls, I'm Melinda, Kellys' new coordinator. Now, who's who?" She asked.
The bus door closed and the driver started driving away from the auditorium.
"I'm Stacey, and this is Michelle." I said.
"Nice to meet you. What have you been doing in London?" she asked.
"Sightseeing mostly!" Michelle said.
"How much longer are you staying?" Melinda asked.
"About two more days. Then I think we're gonna make a huge circle. We're probably going to go through France, Switzerland, Italy, and then go home from Germany." I said.
"Will you able to change your planes or they are set in stones?" Melinda asked.
"They're not." Michelle said. "And it's driving our parents crazy."
"Why? If you don't mind me asking." I said to Melinda. "Hold on just one second." Melinda stuck her head through a curtain between the driver's area and the rest of the bus. "Are you all decent?" She called.
I heard some muffled "yeahs" and then Melinda walked through the curtain. Michelle and I followed.
"Hey, look who I brought with me!" Melinda said, as we stepped through the curtain.
Paddy came over and gave me a hi-five.
"Hey girl! What up?"
"Awesome concert!" I exclaimed.
"Thanks!" Maite said. "Have you guys been to our shows before?"
"I have!" Michelle said. "But Stacey hasn't. The only song she knew was 'An Angel!'"
Everyone laughed.
"This is a Dino song!" Joey joked.
"What can I say?" I asked. "I'm a little 'late'!"
"Feel free to sit down." Jimmy said.
Michelle and I sat down next to each other on the couch.
"You guys aren't still mad at us are you?" I blurted.
"Mad at you?" Joey questioned. "Why would we be mad?"
"For 'distracting' those two the other night." I said.
"We weren't really mad, we just didn't and still don't really know you." Patricia said. "You two haven't shown us you're real yet. How do we know you're not just in it because of who we are?" She was smiling, but dead serious.
"Patricia!" Jimmy hissed.
"No, Jimmy, it's okay." Michelle said. "We understand. What do you want us to do to prove ourselves? Do you have some sort of dare in mind or something?"
"Yeah, actually, I do." Angelo said slyly. "We love practical jokes, so if you two can win a practical joke war, I'll love you forever!"
"How are we gonna do that long distance?" Michelle asked. "You guys are here for only two more concerts."
"That's what I brought you here to discuss." Melinda said.
"Yeah, we thought we'd sign you on as a crewmembers." Joey said. "If that's okay with you."
"That's so cool!" Michelle exclaimed. "Oh my gosh, thank you!"
"What exactly would we be doing?" I asked.
Maite pointed and laughed. "Oh my gosh, you're just like Paddy! Everyone else will be like 'Let's go have some fun' and Paddy is like…" She lowered her voice "'Wait, we gotta do business first.'"
Paddy smacked Maite on the arm.
"Shut up, woman!"
"We were thinking like you two would help Melinda, help to prepare our clothes, hand us water bottles during quick changes or breaks, stuff like that." Joey said.
"That's great!" Michelle yelled.
"Okay!" Melinda interrupted. "Stacey and Michelle, we need to get down to business before we get to the hotel, so you guys can go do something else."
Paddy stood up. "Well you sure can tell when you're not wanted!"
He walked away and bent over his bunk, rummaging through his stuff. The others went past him into the back room of the bus.
"Whose hotel are we going to?" I asked.
"Theirs" Melinda said. "They wanted to change clothes and go to a club. You two are invited of course."
"We'd love to go. It'll be fun!" Michelle said. Her eyes lit up. "Oh! I just got the best idea for a prank!"
Melinda and I leaned forward. Michelle looked to make sure no one else was listening.
"Melinda, is there some way you could give us one of their room keys?" Michelle asked.
"I have them all. What are you gonna do, trash their rooms?" She asked.
"Only one!" Michelle said. "If we could somehow get off the bus and up to their room, like, ten minutes before them."
"I can arrange that." Melinda smiled. "There's always fans in the lobby. We can sneak the two of you through and have the guys sign some autographs. That will take at least ten minutes."
"Awesome!" Michelle and I exclaimed.
Melinda raised an eyebrow.
"Are you two sure you want to get in a prank war with them?"
"We don't really have a choice." Michelle said.
"All right!" Melinda sighed. "But now let's get things down on paper."

Joey rolled his eyes and looked at Paddy and Jimmy.
"Why do you care what I think of them?" He asked.
"Because they are coming with us, affect the group, and we wanna know!" Jimmy said.
"It doesn't matter what I think!" Joey said. "I can already tell what you think of Stacey, Paddy. It's obvious."
"Whatever, Joey!" Paddy defended. "I've only known her for a day."
"Well, you were staring at her during the whole concert!" Jimmy said, laughing.
"Except when she was staring at you." Joey added, snickering. "Then, neither of you would look at each other."
"Shut up!" Paddy said.

The bus stopped a block from the hotel so Michelle and I wouldn't be seen getting off their bus. The bus turned the corner and Michelle and I ran, room key in hand, into the hotel, and rode the elevator up to their floor. Melinda had given us the key to Joey's and Jimmy's room and as soon as we found it, we got to work. Michelle went into the bathroom and started squirting toothpaste messages onto the bathroom mirror and she dumped a small bottle of bubble bath into the toilet. Then she found some hair gel and smeared it all over the door handles.
In the meantime, I started throwing clothes everywhere. I tossed some out on the balcony and I stuffed a pair of boxers into the video recorder. Five minutes later, we surveyed the damage. It looked like the room had exploded. We hi-fived and exited the room just in time. As soon as the door closed and sat down against the wall, the elevator doors opened and the Kellys, Melinda and Bobby, their bodyguard for the night, stepped out.
"Well it took you long enough!" I said.
Paddy sighed. "We got bombarded by fans in and outside the lobby, so we signed a few autographs."
Michelle nodded. "That's cool, treating them special like that."
"Yeah. Gotta show them some love." Joey said. "Melinda, you got our keys?"
"Uh-huh, they're in my purse. Just a second." she said, looking through her purse. She fumbled with it, and then dropped it, just as planned. A whole bunch of things fell out and Michelle and I bent down to help her pick them up. In the process, I slipped the room key from my sleeve to her purse.
"Thanks!" she said.
"It's no big deal!" I said, winking to show that everything had gone according to plan. We stood up and she handed Joey a room key and one to Angelo.
"We'll wait right out here for you guys!" Melinda said.
"Okay" Joey said. "We'll try and be quick." He unlocked his room, opened the door and turned on the light. "What the…" He exclaimed.
"Oh my gosh!" Jimmy finished, peeking over his shoulder.
Everyone crowded into the room to see what Joey and Jimmy were yelling about.
"What the hell happened?" Angelo asked in dismay.
"Don't look at me!" Jimmy snapped. "I don't know what happened."
"Man, your room is completely trashed." Maite said, trying to suppress laughter. Joey and Jimmy just stared at her.
"Well thank you very much, Paddy!" Jimmy said sarcastically. "Like we hadn't already figured that out."
Paddy opened the door to the bathroom and started laughing.
"Look at the mirror!" He gasped.
"What's it say?" I asked. "I can't see."
Paddy cleared his throat.
"Dear Kellys, we love you so much! Love, Katie, Diana, and Maddie."
"Fans did this?" Michelle asked in shock. She started walking around the room, picking up various articles of clothing.
"Yeah, I guess!" Joey mused.
"Well, you two were up here!" Maite observed. "Did you see anyone?"
I thought quickly.
"Um, no. Oh wait! There were three or four really giggly girls that got in our elevator when we got up here. Right, Michelle?"
"Yeah, they were falling all over themselves." she said, looking at me and trying not to laugh.
"You all think this is funny, don't you?" Patricia asked.
"Only these!" Michelle said, holding up a pair of yellow boxers.
Jimmy walked over and grabbed them out of her hand. Then he noticed the balcony and ran over to the door. He put his hand on the handle, but immediately drew it away.
"There's sticky stuff all over the handle!" he yelled.
Joey threw a wad of toilet paper at Jimmy and he cleaned off the handle before going outside to clear off the balcony. Paddy grabbed another wad and started to clean off the mirror. He threw the toilet paper into the toilet and flushed. Immediately, white foam began to rise out of it and spill onto the floor.
Michelle and I were collapsed on the floor outside the bathroom, hysterically laughing. Angelo and Paddy were frantically trying to contain the foamy pool.
"What kind of person would do this?" Paddy asked angrily. Michelle and I laughed even harder.
"Wait a second!" Joey said.
"What?" Jimmy asked.
He pointed to us. "I think we've been pranked."
"No kidding, genius!" Angelo said, not catching his meaning.
"By them, Angelo" Paddy said, still pointing. "Your dare, remember?"
Chris stopped picking up clothes and looked at us. "Did you guys do this?" He asked.
"Don't mess with the masters!" I exclaimed.
Angelo hurled a pillow at us.
"Does this mean we're in?" Michelle asked, dodging another pillow.
"I do have to admit, that was pretty good." Angelo said after we all finished cleaning up the room. "We weren't expecting a prank so soon."
"Thank you!" I said, smiling smugly.
"But this isn't over yet" Joey said.
"Oh, no way!" Michelle agreed. "But do you all approve yet?"
"You know I do!" Angelo laughed.
"I did when you came to the soundcheck!" Joey said seriously. "It showed integrity to want to make things right."
"But they could've come just to see us!" Angelo said.
"Yeah, 'cause we were falling all over ourselves when we met you." I said sarcastically.
"And because of that." Joey said, smiling. "No one has the nerve to talk to us like that or yell at Paddy."
"I didn't yell." I said quietly.
"And your head's as big as a beach ball." Michelle said, rolling her eyes. I shrugged.
"I still need more proof." Maite said.
"Are you ready to go yet?" Melinda asked. "At the club, maybe they'll prove they have better dance moves than you all."
"Ha ha ha!" Paddy laughed, sarcastically. "Yeah, we're ready."

As we walked down the hall, Paddy put his arm around me.
"Will you save a slow dance or four for me, babe?"
My stomach lurched. I could hardly imagine dancing with him. He was so close to me with his arm around my shoulders that I could smell his cologne, and he smelled good. I breathed in the smell of Old Spice and instantly remembered smelling it before. It was the night Ray broke up with me. We were in his room and he was getting ready to go. He had just put on the Old Spice cologne I bought him for our one-year anniversary. He walked over, gave me a hug and told me that it was over. That's it: over.
"Stacey?" Paddy's voice brought me back to the present. "Is something wrong?"
I looked at him, trying to find the words. I looked at Michelle and silently pleaded for her help.
"Stace, hello?!" she said. I closed my eyes and shook Paddy's arm off my shoulders.
"I'm okay!" I said.
"Are you sure?" Paddy asked as we got on the elevator.
"Yeah, yeah, I'm fine!" I said. "Let's go party."
Everyone looked at me quizzically.
"Really!" I insisted. "I'm fine."
"Okay" Paddy said. "How about those dances?"
"Uh, yeah, sure." I said quickly, trying to convince myself it would be okay.
When the elevator reached the lobby, we took the back exit out of the hotel and boarded the bus.

"What was that all about?" Michelle asked me when we were finally back at our hotel room.
"What?" I asked, pretending not to know.
"You know what I'm talking about. In the hotel, before we went to the club. You totally freaked out!" She said.
I shrugged.
"It's because he called you 'babe' isn't it? I know that's what Ray used to call you." she said.
"That and he wears Old Spice cologne. The same kind that I got Ray." I said quietly.
"Stacey, listen to me for a sec" she said. I sat down on my bed and looked at her. "I think Paddy likes you. And if you let him get away because he's trying to get close, that will be the third guy in a row you've passed up. You need to get a hold of yourself!"
I sighed. "But…"
"No, I'm talking" she said, cutting me off. "And you told me yesterday that you liked Paddy. And that was only, like, an hour after you met him. You need to get over Ray. He's ruining your life and I'm not going to stand by and watch it happen."
"You're right!" I said. "But I'm still scared!"
"But not every guy is like Ray!" she exclaimed. "Take a chance! Love is something you risk it all for."
"But what if…" I started.
"Don't play the what-if game" she said. "And don't fake headaches to get out of a situation because I'll call you on it. Don't play any more high school tricks, Stacey. You'll never know if he's the one unless you take a risk."
I buried my face in my hands.
"Let me sleep on it, okay? It's like, 3:30 in the morning. I can't think when it's this late."
Michelle sighed.
"Stacey, you need to get that moron out of your head, out of your heart and out of your life. We're supposed to learn from our mistakes. Learn!" She commanded.
"Goodnight, Michelle!" I said, crawling under the covers.

"Hey girls! You're early!" Melinda said as Michelle and I ran up to the backstage entrance of the auditorium the next day. "How was the British Museum?"
"It was pretty cool." I said.
"You're taking apart the stage after the show." a voice to my left said. Joey stepped out of the shadows.
"No way!" Melinda said. "No pranking with the equipment."
Michelle glared at Joey.
"Yeah, you don't wanna kill us."
"But it would have been funny to watch you working so hard." Joey said.
"Are you implying that my job isn't hard?" Melinda asked, raising her eyebrows. Joey shook his head in mock fear. "Good, that's what I thought. You girls are going to be helping me." The four of us started walking down the hall. "The Meet'n'Greeters will be showing up in an hour, and we have a lot of stuff to do."
Joey nodded and walked off down the hall. Melinda led us down a different hall and into a big room filled with chairs. A long table and five more chairs were set up near the door.
"I have to type a journal entry for the official Kelly site, so I'd like you two to go out into the auditorium and sign 3 places." Melinda directed. "During the show, you'll go to those places and bring the girls backstage. They're the ones who go onstage when the Kellys tell to do so."
"Oh, so that's how they pick them." Michelle said.
Melinda nodded and clapped her hands. "Okay, let's get to work. We don't have much time."

"Are we leaving for Paris tonight?" I asked Jimmy. We were all backstage in their dressing room just after the Meet'n'Greet.
"Yeah!" he said. "I believe you and Michelle are going to be living on Melinda's bus for the rest of the tour."
"I guess it's a good thing we checked out of the hotel this morning." Michelle said.
Just then Melinda stuck her head in the door.
"Stacey, Michelle, you need to go get the girls and bring them backstage in 15 minutes."
"All right!" I said. "We'll get right on that."
Melinda smiled and closed the door.
"Do you guys wanna hang out on the bus with us for a while tonight? Like until we get into France?" Paddy asked.
"Sure!" I said. "Are we taking a ferry or going through the Channel?"
"I don't know, I guess we'll find out." Paddy said.
"Cool!" Michelle said, standing up. "We'd better get going."

On the bus after the concert, Paddy challenged Michelle to a TV-game of racing and they disappeared into the back of the bus.
"You didn't bring me back here to play, did you?" Michelle asked as Paddy closed the door.
"No, I didn't. I need to know how to get to Stacey. Every time I try to talk to her or get close, she freaks out." he said.
Michelle looked down. "I shouldn't say this, but she freaked out last night because you called her 'babe.' That's what her ex used to call her."
"Will everything I do remind her of her ex?" He asked.
"Yes!" Michelle sighed. "But as her best friend, I have to know why you're asking."
"Oh come on!" Paddy exclaimed. Michelle didn't respond, so he continued. "Well, I see a gorgeous girl who puts on this air of confidence which totally attracts me to her. But when I try to get to know her, I find she's completely untrusting of everyone outside her comfort zone. I want to know why she's putting up walls."
"You, Paddy Kelly, are a brave man. You're going where no man has gone before. I wish you good luck!" Michelle said. Paddy looked at her bleakly. "Okay, okay, I'll help you out. All you can do is be patient. Show her you're truly interested, if you are. Or just show her you want to be friends. But definitely keep talking to her. And if she freaks out again, do not let her make an excuse. Just get to know her."
"Thanks!" he said, smiling. "Could you tell her to come here for a second?"
"Sure!" Michelle said, opening the door. I sat on the couch, half listening to Joey and Angelo talking about a movie, but mostly staring at the door, wishing I didn't feel jealous.
When Michelle came through, she was smiling.
"That was a short game!" I said.
"Yeah, I lost." she said. "Paddy wants to beat you now."
"I'm not gonna lose." I said, walking to the back room.
"No, Stacey, you might actually win this time!" she said as I passed her. I gave her a questioning look and she smiled.

I opened the door and shut it behind me. Paddy was sitting on the couch, but the TV was off.
"What's going on?" I asked, confused. "I thought you challenged me to a race."
"Not exactly. I just wanted to talk to you." I opened my mouth to speak, but Paddy continued. "Don't say anything. I want to apologize first for calling you 'babe.' Michelle told me that he used to call you this way and that's what made you freak out last night. I have to know, what did that creep do to you, to make you so untrusting?"
I was shocked, and felt betrayed.
"Paddy, I've only known you for four days!" I whispered.
"How am I supposed to get to know you if you're so closed off?" He asked. "Stacey, I like you. I think you're great. I want to get to know you, but you won't let me get close."
"I don't want your pity." I said, looking away. His words were so sincere, and I wanted to tell him everything.
"I'm not offering pity. I want to understand why you feel the way you do." he said, taking my hand.
I looked into his eyes.
"Do you really want to know?" I asked, hoping I wasn't going to regret it.
"Yes, Stacey!" He said. "Otherwise, you and Michelle wouldn't be here. Jimmy and I have become quite attached to you two, and I don't know, you're both so real. I think Jimmy really likes Michelle, if you know what I mean."
I smiled. "I know. You can tell that by the way he looks at her. But, you want to know about me. Here goes. Ray and I had known each other since we were little. We did everything together and officially started dating our freshman year. I was completely devoted to him. And only now do I realize how one-sided the relationship was. He didn't really care about me at all. So when we were on that class trip I told you about, he started spending all his time with another girl on the trip. I called him on it and he told me that he was sick of me and he wanted a girl who was more like him. I was heartbroken because I didn't see it coming, so I slapped him in the face and have been unable to trust another guy with my heart since then."
Paddy sighed. "Whew! And you're still getting over it?"
"Pathetic, isn't it?" I asked. "I mean, I guess I'm over him, it's just the fact that I was taken for granted and didn't realize it that still bothers me."
"It's not pathetic!" Paddy said gently. "It's sad. I'm glad he's gone, but I'm sad he left such a scar on such a beautiful personality."
I felt my cheeks turn red.
"You think I…"
"Yes, you're a beautiful person on the inside and the outside. I've never met anyone like you before." he said.
I stood up and gave him a hug and his arms tightened around me.
"Thanks!" I whispered.
"Do you trust me now?" he whispered back.
"I think so." I said. There was a knock on the door.
"Come in." Paddy called. Michelle poked her head in the door.
"I'm mad at you." I said.
"I know!" she confessed. "I'm sorry. Do you guys wanna watch a movie?"
"Sure. How about Star Wars?" I asked.

To be continued...
