CHAPTER 2 - The wheel of love

Back to Paddy's flat.
"What is wrong, Marie? You didn't say a single word to me since we left Gymnich."
"I'm tired."
"You still didn't tell me what they said in your new university."
"That in Semtember I'm their student. And I'll get a room with a few other girls."
"But you already have where to live. You don't need any room. You live with me."
"No, I can't use you anymore. I have to live my own life."

Paddy reminded himself about the last words from his ex girlfriend. 'I have to live my life!' He could barely forget about her. He even wrote her a song "Why don't you go". He felt like crying, one more girl told him that she had to live her life without him. He hated those words.

"Paddy? Paddy? Where are you?" Marie woke him up from thinking.
"Sorry… err… What do you mean by 'I have to live my own life'?"
"I have to stand up on my own legs. Handle my problems myself. Do you understand what I mean?"
"How about me?"
"You have nothing to this. You are my boyfriend, we can spend time together, but you can't pay for the food I eat, the place I stay. I want to be independent."
"Do whatever you want to, but don't leave me, ok?"
"You got it Paddy per 100%." She kissed him deeply thanking god for this wonderful man.

Two months later Marie went to live in a room with other girl called Claudia, and started her school. A few days before her moving Paddy went with the group to a little tour in Europe.

"You're such an idiot Marie!!" Claudia said.
"Why?" Marie said stuffing her face with cheetos.
"Duh!! Only 'The Kellys are coming to ours and your don't even care!!"
"I care, I'm just not gonna freak out! They are really sweet."
"Girl, that Paddy is so cute!!"
"Claudia, did I tell you that he is my boyfriend?" Marie informed her best friend.
"WHAT? You go out with THAT Paddy?? There was a time when I was completely in love with him…"
"How? I thought you have never met him."
"I was a fan. About 6 years ago I was obsessed with The Kelly Family. It was something like Kelly-fever in Germany. I was in many of their concerts and screamed his name that loud that I only could."
"I hope it's over! And you are not gonna scream to my boyfriend today."
"Of course, it's over. I'm too old for this."

Bring bring…
"Hello?" Marie picked up the phone.
"Hey there!!"
"Who is this?"
"Oh come on, you don't know who this is?"
"No, sorry."
"It's Angelo!!!!"
"Oh hey!! How ya doin' Angie?!?"
"Man, Marie, I hate when you call me that."
"I know, that's why I do it!!"
"Oh yeah, we're almost there. Hey, someone wants to talk to you."
"Alright but hurry."
"Hey Marie! Wassup?" Paddy's voice spoke up.
"Big bear? That you?"
"That's me baby!!"
"Hey how you doing?"
"Great!! I'm thinking of you!"
"Oh yeah! HA HA!"
"I'll be there in about 20 mins. OK?"
"Right, see ya then little bear."

Marie had a smile on her face waiting for them to come.
"Marie!!" they all yelled. Angelo, Kira, Jimmy and Maite got in line to give hugs.
They all looked the same to her until Paddy came up.
"Big bear!!" she yelled happily.
"Give me a hug!"
She went in his arms and he sqeezed her.
"Ohhhh Marie!!!" Someone said
Marie turned her head, still in Paddy's arms.
"Oh hey Claudia!! This is Angie, his second part Kira, Maite, Jamesie and of course Paddy! And this is my classmate, roommate, soul mate Claudia."
"I'm jealous!" Paddy whispered with a big smile. "How do you do!" he told Claudia.
"Claudia, would you show our guests this big building?" Marie suggested.
"Err… sure! Guys, come with me!" Claudia took the other away, so Marie and Paddy could be alone.

"So, Paddy. How was the tour?" Marie sat down, Paddy sat next to her.
"Oh good. Very tiring you know!"
"Actually I wouldn't but I understand."
"You're such a brat."
"Shut up!! How rude." She stood up to leave, but Paddy grabbed her waist and pulled her back.
"I was kidding litlle bear."
"I know. Just foolin' ya, now let me go."
"No"
"Uhhhhhhh!! I'll scream!!!"
"Try!!" Paddy said "If you can't scream, you'll have to kiss me!"
"Ach, you won!"

They started to kiss and enjoyed every moment together. 

"Marie, I gotta go for a minute, but don't go far."
"Okay bye." Marie stood there for a minute thinking how she loved him.
"Ha ha, gotcha!" Paddy yelled grabbing her and putting her over his shoulders.
"Paddy!! LET ME GO!" She said giggling.
He picked her up and threw her on the bed. She lay there helplessly. Marie sat on the other side of the bed. Marie sat up, out of breath and put her hair back up while Paddy sat there, breathlessly, staring at her.
"Marie?" he said
"Hmmmmm?" she replied
"I really want to talk to you."
"Well, what keeping you?"
"Oh, not here! Somewhere where we can be alone."
"But we are alone!"
"Someone can get in here everytime… you know!"
"Um, okay. Are you feeling okay?"
"I'm fine." he smiled. "7 o'clock?"
"Sure. Hey I'm gonna go get a bite to eat."
"Okay."

Soon the others came back from their trip. They all said 'goodbye' to each other and left the girls alone.

"See, I didn't scream!!" Claudia said.
"Yes, but instead you stared at them like they were monsters! I'm shamed of you."
"I can't help that they are so… so…"
"I see, I see!"
"In the next meeting I'm gonna ask Jimmy for going out with me!" Claudia informed.
"What?"
"I'm serious, he is more handsome in real than on Tv and posters. And your Superman, he was so… so…"
"I understand! All the Kellys are so… you know!"
"Yeah, I know."
"By the way, I'm not going to have a dinner today. Paddy asked me to go with him somewhere." Marie claimed.
"You are so lucky!"

Marie arrived at Patricia's a little earlier. Since after the tour Patricia and her husband went to Paris for holidays Paddy had to take care about her house too. Patricia has a little beautiful garden. At the door Marie noticed a rose in doormat with a card that said "Come in, I'm waiting for you!". Maria opened the door slowly. Inside she saw a lot of rose petals on the floor. She followed the 'rose carpet'. At the end she reached to the door to garden with a next card: 
"Without you
My lips will not smile the same
And my heart can not sing 
Our special song...

My world will not shine so bright
And the stars will surely be sad...

There will be no tomorrow
And tomorrow will never find its way

"Hey, Paddy. Is this seat taken?" she saw Paddy sitting on a rocker in the garden.
"Oh please, take a seat." Marie sat down next to Paddy. "I was just looking at the stars."
"Really? They sure are pretty."
"Yeah they are. Marie, there's something really important I have to tell you."
"Okay I'm listening."
Paddy took a deep breath and wiped down his face. He looked her in her brown deep eyes and took her hand.
"Paddy, is there something wrong?"
"No, yes, well no, not really."
"Well then what is it?"
"I love you!" Paddy hold her.
"I love you too. Is it all you want to tell me?"
"I missed you like crazy for two last weeks. I understood that you mean very much to me."
"I missed you too Paddy!" They hugged each other.
"Well what are we waiting for? Lets go to dinner!" Paddy broke the silence.
"Hey Paddy, hold up."
"Something wrong?"
"Well, why were you so scared?"
"I was just not sure if everything was ok between us since I had a quite long tour and there were a lot changes in your life that I could be a part of."
"You are nuts! Do you know that?"
"Yeah, I know I know."

After that Marie and Paddy were inseparable. They did everything together, for a half year and fourteen days. Today was Valentine's day and Paddy had something that would come to a surprise later for her.

"Today is the Valentine's day. Wow, I have been with Paddy for 9 months already, how fast the time goes." Marie and Claudia laid on their beds.
"And I'm with Jimmy for three months."
"What do you guys gonna do today?
"I don't know! He doesn't want to tell!"
"Kelly is Kelly! Neither his little brother don't want to tell."

Someone knocked on their door.
"Come in please!"
A man walked in the door.
"Are you Marie Reno?"
"Yes."
"I have a package for you."
"Oh really?"
"Yeah. Sign here." Marie took the pen and signed her name. The man gave her an medium sized box. "Have a nice Valentine's day."
"You too."
"Gee, I wonder who that's from." Claudia said. "Well open it!!"
Marie cut the tape and opened the box. Inside was teddy bear and a note.

Dear Marie,
Happy Valentine's Day, baby!!
-Paddy
P.S. Push the bear's paw.

When Marie pushed it a little remedy of "Fell in love with an alien" played.
"Ohhhhhhh how sweet!!!" Claudia yelled
"Excuse me. What are you girls doing here?" their dean asked.
"Studying, sir!" they said.
"It's Valentine's Day. Don't study!"
"Seriously?" Claudia asked.
"Yeah, go out of here!"
They all ran out the door with Marie's brand new gift in her hands.
"Hey guys, I need to stop by shopping and the apartment of Paddy"
"Alright bye Marie. Don't forget the party tonight!!" Claudia yelled

Marie hoped on the bus to meet Paddy. All the way she thought about him. How sweet, caring, sensitive and loving kind of person he was. Then she remembered all their best times Paddy and her had. The carnival, dinners, the lake, the beach, moonlight strolls, their first kiss together. Then she tried to imagine her life without him. It was impossible. The thought went away as the buss approached to the bus-stop. She walked to Paddy's flat. She took out her keys and slowly unlocked the door, turned the doorknob and then she dropped her keys.

Paddy was sitting on the couch, with Claudia all over him. Kissing hugging, literally making out.
"What in the hell is going on here?!?!" Marie yelled.
"Marie?!?!" Paddy said jumping
"Oh my gosh Marie. It's not what it seems." Claudia said
"Yeah right Claud. If you still felt for him why didn't you tell me?!?!"
"I didn't, I don't!!"
"Well then what is this?!?!"
"I thought you were shopping." Paddy said.
"What difference does it make?!? You still cheated on me!!!!!!" Marie said now crying hysterically. "I didn't know you were like that. How could you Paddy?"
"I can explain!!!!"
"You know what?!?! I don't want to hear it!!!!!! From either of you!! Stay out of my life! It's over, between us, both of you!!" She stormed out the door and slammed it. 

She got in a bus still crying and she didn't where to go. The whole way there she cried and cried, then she saw her bear that Paddy had given her earlier that day. She pulled over and stared at the bear. She held it close and started to cry even more. She knew what she had to do, it left her no choice. She picked up her cell and dialed his number. It rang twice until he picked it up.
"Hello?"
"Jimmy? There's something I need to tell you."
"Marie? You okay?"
"No."
"What's going on?"
"Jimmy. I'm afraid I have bad news."
"What is it?"
"I caught Paddy and Claudia together."
"What do you mean "together"?"
"Like together, kissing, everything!"
"Where are you?"
"I don't know. In… err… Marcusstreet..."
"Stay there, I'm on my way."

As soon as Jimmy got to where she was he told her to come up to his apartment so they could talk. Marie laid the bear in the backseat of his car and Jimmy took her to his place. Once Marie got to Jimmy's apartment he let her in kindly.
"Jimmy, how could he?" Marie said sittting down.
"Marie, maybe he has a good reason." Jimmy said sitting next to her.
"Yeah, but it won't matter now, he still cheated. Don't you feel the same?"
"Well, I knew Claudia would do that sooner or later. I'm, not surprised she did it, but you know."
"Oh my gosh!!! Jessica's party!! I promised her." She remind helself of today's party at Jessica's, one of her schoolmate.
"Well what's keeping you?"
"Everyone will be there. Including Paddy and Claudia."
"Well, what are you going to do?"
"Jimmy will you come with me? As a friend?"
"Sure, what are friends for?"
"Thank you soooo much!"
"I'm sorry this had to happen to you Marie. I really am."
"Yeah me too. Thanks Jimmy, thanks for being there."
Marie slid on her Valentine's day dress and got ready for the party. When she walked out the bathroom Jimmy was waiting.
"You look nice Marie!"
"Thanks, you ready?"
"I am, are you?"
"Yeah, I think so."
The whole way there was pretty silent besides the little sobs coming from Marie every now and then.

"Marie, do you want me to talk to him?" Jimmy said finally breaking the silence.
"No!!! Don't, I don't ever want that to happen."
"How come?"
"It's my job."

When they got to the party it was boomin' and no one had a clue of what had happened earlier that day except for the two that were involved. Everyone was there except for Claudia. She never showed, people said that she went to her parents. Paddy showed up alone. She always caught him looking at her, he even tried talking to her a couple times, but he didn't get one word out without her leaving.
"Jess?" Marie said
"Hey Marie!! What can I do for you?"
"Can I go upstairs?"
"Oh sure, thanks for comin' Marie."
"No problem, you know where I'll be if you need me."'
"Okay bye!"

Marie went up the stairs and into Jessica's guest room for the night. The room was small with one bed.
"Finally alone." Marie said to herself. She turned on the radio and "Fell in love with an alien" was on.

Tears formed in her eyes as a sparkle ran down her cheek. She sat down on the bed and got out her diary to write. She put her glasses on and wrote with tears pouring out of her eyes. Then she heard a voice she didn't want to hear.
"Marie?"
Marie look up and wiped her eyes.
"What do you want?" Marie said very sternly and angerly.
"Marie, we need to talk." Marie took her glasses off and a tear ran down her cheek. 
"What's left to say?"
"Enough." 
"Well I really don't care!"
"Of course you do, why do you think you're crying?"
"You're just making it harder for me!!! Leave me alone!!!"
"No, not until I get through to you!"
"Fine Paddy!! Tell me! Tell me why you were making out with my best friend!! One good reason Paddy!!!!!"
"I didn't do it!"
"Oh yeah, let me guess, it was your evil twin, huh?" Marie said tears streaming out of her eyes.
"She brought it on. I didn't do anything!"
"You expect me to believe that?!?"
"Why wouldn't you?!?! You trust me, right?!?"
"You abused my trust!! I can't!"
"You can if you try! Believe me! I would never hurt you!"
"It's a little to late for that." Marie's last tear fell from her eye, she looked down, away from his blue eyes. "I should have known you do that."
"Do what Marie?"
"Paddy why did you do all this with me if you feel for her? Why?!?"
"Marie!! How could you believe that?? I don't feel for her, it's you I feel for!! I love you."
"Excuse me!?!? You what!?!?
"I love you, Marie." He said grabbing her hands. Marie pulled her hands away and stood up.
"How could you say that?"
"That's how I feel."
"No!!! It's not!!!" 
Paddy stood up.
"Yes it is!! Why do you say that?? Don't you?"
"I can't love you!!"
"Why?"
"You've already broken hearts before, you're not gonna do it again!!!"
"Me?? Broke hearts!?! She broke mine!!!!!!!!!!"
"What?"
"You mean Julie, right? She dumped me and used that excuse to get with Angelo, but he dumped her too. There is nothing between me and Claudia. This is the truth!!"
Marie widened her eyes and said nothing.
"Now do you believe me?"
"Sure I believe you, but I don't trust you, I don't love you, so just go away!!!"
"I'm not gonna let what we had just go!!! I love you Marie!!!"
"You don't love me!! It's a lie!! Just like everything else we had!!" She started to run, but Paddy grabbed her arm. "Let me go Paddy."
"I'm not gonna let you run out on me like Julie did! I was stupid enough to let her go, I'm not doing it again."
"You obviously did to make out with her!!"
"She told me you were shopping."
"That's even worse! Cheat on me, then just hide it!!! It's stupid Paddy!!"
"Please, I'll do anything. I'm sorry Marie, I'm sorry!!! I love you so much and you've gotta believe me!"
"Let me go Paddy."
"Is this what you want? Do you wanna walk away from us? If that's what will make you happy, run!!" He let go of her arm and she started backing up.
"Marie, you're walking away from the best thing both of us could have."
Marie started crying again
"Paddy, I wanted what we had, we could have had it, but you abused everything I felt for you." She turned to walk out the door and she turned her head to see one tear leave Paddy's beautiful blue eye and run down his cheek.
"Marie, please don't leave."
"I'm sorry Paddy." She ran out the door and down the stairs to Jimmy.
"I want to go home Jimmy. Take me home!!"
"Are you okay Marie?"
"Just take me home. I mean to Paddy's flat. I still have some stuff there."

Jimmy put the 4 runner in park and turned to Marie.
"Are you going to be alright Marie?"
"I'll be okay Jimmy. Thanks."
She leaned over and gave him a kiss on the cheek.
"Thanks a lot."
"I wait here for you."
"No, Jimmy, go! I'll come back by bus. Don't worry!"
"Ok then!"
Jimmy drove away. Marie stepped out of the car and walked into her room. She set her keys on the table and sat on her bed and rubbed her eyes. She looked over and saw a box. It was a small and black and Marie knew what was inside of it. He must have dropped it. She thought. She carefully opened the small box and a ring was inside. A fairly large diamond on a gold band. Marie started crying. She closed the box and threw it against the wall. She started freaking out. Hitting everything in sight, screaming, "I hate you Paddy!!" But inside she knew she didn't. But she kept throwing things and hitting things until she punched the door and broke down. "Why did you do this to me?" she cried to herself. Then someone burst in the door and saw Marie on the floor crying.
"Marie??" She looked up and saw a kind face.
"Angelo? What are you doing here?"
"Honey, what's wrong?" he bent down and touched her shoulder.
"I'm sure you know Angelo"
"Well Paddy never showed up for a sound check."
"Yeah I know why."
"Did you two get in a fight?"
"Just a little."
"Do you want me to leave you alone?"
"Please."
"I'm not going to, if you not gonna be fine."
"I'll be okay. Come back to Kira"
"Kira is at her parents' in Rostock. Are you sure you are ok?"
"Angelo?"
"What?"
"Is the county fair still going?"
"Yeah, today's the last day. Why?"
"Will you take me?"
"Of course! Lets go!" Marie grabbed her keys and left with Angelo.

When they got there it was packed, she was certain no one would see her. She actually was having fun for the first hour, but Marie had no idea what was about to hit her.
"Angelo? Can we go on the ferries wheel?"
"Man, Marie, you know how much I hate those things."
"That's okay I need some time to think anyway."
"I'll meet you right over there." Angelo pointed towards a little food stand.
"Alright." Marie got in line and when she was seated someone with a very familiar face sat next to her.
"Why won't you leave me alone?!?"
"Marie stop trying to avoid me." Paddy said.
"I told you! I never wanted to see you again!!"
"But I never agreed!"
"I can't believe you!!" The ride started moving.
"Marie, why did you walk out on me?"
"I don't love you Paddy!! Get it through your brain!!"
"But I love you."
Marie stood up.
"How could you say that!?!?" The seat started rocking.
"Marie sit down." Paddy tried to say calmly.
"Don't tell me what to do!!"
As their seat approached the top there was a sudden stop and Marie was jerked backwards. She screamed at the top of her lungs and she thought it was all over for her, but Paddy grabbed her arm. Everyone around them gasped as they watched Marie hanging out of the seat with Paddy grasping her wrist.
"Oh my god Paddy." Marie said hyperventilating.
"I won't let you go Marie!!"
"Help me, Paddy, help me." she cried.
"Listen to me!!!!! I will NOT let you go!! Trust me!!"
Marie glared at him and looked down at what she was facing. It was a long way down and Marie closed her eyes. 
"No."
"What!?!?!"
"I said NO!!"
"Marie Michelle Reno!! You're in a life threatening situation!! Do you want me to let you go!?!?!
Marie just started to cry. The she looked up to him and whispered to herself.
"I don't wanna die."
"Marie!! I promise you this, I will NOT let you go!!"
Marie just cried as she hang there 100 meters above the ground, her life flashing before her eyes.

Meanwhile on the Ground...............
"Wow!! Look at that!!"
Angelo heard from a couple nearby. He turned his head and saw Marie hanging. He dropped his food and ran over to the ride.
"Marie!! Marie!!" He yelled, but it was no use, she couldn't hear him.
He ran up to the conductor.
"Get them down here!!!" Angelo demanded
"Sir, it's stuck!! I can't!"
"Look, if you know what's good for you, you'll get the freaking ride down here!!!"
"This lever is stuck!! I told you I can't!!"
"I swear… Listen, if she doesn't get down her safely I will pop you once you won't forget."
By that time police, firemen, ambulances, news stations were all there.
"Paddy, what's happening, what's going on?"
"Marie just hold on."
"I'm scared."
"So am I"
A helicopter flew over them yelling: Don't worry we will get you down safely. Marie had been there for at least an hour and a half. She was getting weaker and Paddy couldn't hold her much longer.
Then the helicopter yelled again: We're sending someone down. Do not panic!!
A ladder lowered and a man climbed down. He looked at Marie and smiled.
"Don't worry, we're gonna get you out of this." he said "Sir, I'm gonna have to ask you to let her go when I tell you too, but don't do it until then." he said to Paddy.
As the man buckled Marie up into some supporting straps he tried taking her mind off of what was below her.
"So you two dating?" he asked
"Yes" "No" Marie and Paddy said at the same time.
The man laughed. "Got in a fight, huh?"
"No, he cheated on me." Marie said.
"I didn't do it on propose."
"Okay, Marcus up there is gonna raise you up into the helicopter. You've ever been in one?"
"No." Marie answered
"It's really cool. Okay, sir I need you to slowly let go of her arm."
Paddy didn't want to, he was too afraid she would fall, but he slowly released his fingers one by one. When finally his hands were empty. Marie was fine. She was hanging onto the rope.
"You okay?" the man asked
"As long as I don't fall, yeah."
The man tugged on the rope as she started going up centimeter by centimeter.
Angelo was on the ground freaking out watching Marie hanging out of the chopper. Then the ferries wheel started moving. Paddy sighed in relief. When he got to the ground he ran over to Angelo.
"Man what happened?" Angelo asked.
"Dude, she fell." Then Marie came running up to Angelo and held on to him.
"Oh gosh Angelo, it was horrible, it was hori…" She looked up and saw Paddy starring at her. Marie let go of Angelo and walked up to Paddy.
"I, I, don't know what to say. I owe you my life." she wrapped her arms around him and once again Paddy could touch her. "Thank you Paddy." she whispered into is ear. She finally let go of him when the paramedic grabbed her.
"Miss, we need to take you to the hospital to check to see if anything is wrong."
"Okay" she replied and she walked away. The paramedic opened his hand to Paddy.
"You're a hero, congratulations." Paddy shook his hand "Thank you."
"She's a very lucky girl."
"Yeah, very special too."
The paramedic left and about 10 reporters ran up to Paddy asking him questions, but all he cared about was Marie. He stood over all the reporters and watched Marie get into the ambulance. She looked over and they made eye contact and for that split second Paddy actually thought of why he did and what he did with Claudia. Then it was all clear to him, he did it for Marie. The reporters blanked out of his mind except for one question he heard.
"What happened between you and that young girl?" he looked at the woman with white straight teeth, red curly hair and green eyes. She stood there like a little girl on Christmas day. Paddy smiled and said two words very proudly.
"No comment." then he walked away.

"Well, Marie all we found were a couple bruises, nothing more. You're a very lucky girl." the doctor said.
"Yes I am, thanks doctor. Is my class teacher and my dean here?"
"Actually they just got in. Do you want me to send them in?"
"Yes please."
"You take care Marie. You'll be released today, your guardians are taking you to school."
"Thanks so much."
"Hey that's what I'm here for." Then the doctor left. A couple minutes later her teacher and dean came into her room, but they weren't alone, Jessica was with them.
"Sweetie!! How are you doing? You feeling okay?" Her teacher asked.
"I'm fine."
"Oh I was so scared baby." her friend ran up and gave her a hug. "Thank goodness Paddy was there." She added.

Later that day...............
"It's so good to be home." Marie said to herself.
"We thought we should have you stay here until tomorrow, Marie. Okay?" Jessica said.

Marie laid down and put her hands under the pillow, but she felt something. It felt like paper. She opened her eyes and looked at the mysterious paper. It wasn't paper, it was pictures. Marie admired the pictures. Her and Paddy looked so happy together.
"What have I done?" she said "He's gone. I lost him."
Then there was a knock on the door. Marie quickly put the pictures under the pillow.
"Do you always talk to yourself?"
"Paddy!!" Marie said surprisingly. She hurried to make herself look good.
"Don't bother, you look fine."
Marie loved how he always complimented her.
"So.....??" Marie said
"Well I just came to see if you were okay."
"I'm fine. Look I don't know how to thank you. You saved my life and...."
"Look, you don't need to thank me, I only did what was right." Paddy said interrupting her.
"Still....." It was quiet for the next couple minutes then something caught Paddy's eye. He smiled and walked over to her bed.
"What?" Marie said
He reached for the pictures under her pillow and looked at them.
"You found them" he said
"Found them??" Marie said in confusion.
"Yeah." he laughed "I put them there."
"What?"
"I was hoping you would find them."
"I sure did."
"That was one of the best days of my life."
"Really?"
"Yeah."
"I remember that one we took. I can't believe you tried to lick me!!"
They laughed.

***FLASHBACK***
"How rude!!" Marie said taking a sip of her smoothie.
"Rude?!?" Paddy grabbed her waist and kissed her.
"Ewwww........." she said kiddingly.
"Now who's being rude?" She smiled and kissed him.
"I love the mall!!"
"That's why I took you here."
"I love being with you too." she said in his arms.
"Me too." he leaned in to kiss her. It was a long deep kiss when Paddy spotted something. She pulled away.
"Oh my gosh!!!! Can we do that!?!" she pointed to a picture booth. Paddy turned his head.
"Sure." she grabbed his hand and ran him over there. They sat down and pulled the curtain shut. Paddy stuck two marks into the machine. They got ready and in position.
First Picture: They were looking into each others eyes - very sweet.
Second Picture: Both looking at the camera with their tongues hanging out of their mouths.
Third Picture: Him kissinig her cheek while she was looking surprised.
Fourth Picture: Him trying to lick her cheek while she is trying to pull away.
When they were done they stood outside of the booth laughing so hard.
"Paddy I can't believe you!!!"
"I couldn't help it."
When they finally stopped laughing they looked into each others eyes.
"I've had such a great day. Thanks Paddy."
"No problem baby." he moved in and kissed her. "I will never forget this day."
***End Of Flashback***

"Marie?!?! HELLO?!?!" Paddy yelled.
"Oh what?"
"You okay?"
"Yeah, just kinda got lost in space."
"Well what I was trying to say............" 
"Do I want to hear this.......?" Marie asked suspiciously.
"Well I'm not sure. I think......" he said scratching his head.
"Can we talk later?"
"Well, this is kinda important Marie."
"I'm not sure I'm up for it Paddy."
"Well, how about tomorrow."
"Fine."
"Bye."
"See ya." 

When Marie woke up the next morning the sun was shining and the birds were singing. She opened her eyes and realized she was late for work. She jumped up and got dressed. She did her hair and brushed her teeth. She ran down the stairs and passed the dinning room.
"Marie breakfast!!!" her friend called.
"No time!! Gotta eat!!" she yelled.
"Today's Saturday!!" her friend called back.
She slowly walked into the room with rosy cheeks. Everyone was laughing.
"Sorry, I guess I my mind was somewhere else."
"Yeah, well eat breakfast." her friend demanded.
"No thanks. I'm still a little tired." Marie walked up the stairs and back in her room. She threw her shirt on the floor and jumped back into bed. Just as soon as she got comfortable someone burst in the door.
"Good morning!!" Marie turned her head and Paddy was standing there.
"Paddy!!! Haven't you heard of knocking!?!?!" Paddy realized what had happened. His cheeks turned bright red. Marie sighed.
"Turn around." she demanded. Paddy obeyed.
"Sorry." he said smiling "Like I never seen you without clothes." He murmured so quietly that Marie didn't hear him.
She put a shirt on and walked over to him and tapped his shoulder.
"Okay."
Then he turned around and laid his lips upon hers.
'It felt so good to be in his arms.' Marie thought 'But this is wrong.'
She pulled back.
"What do you think your doing!?!?!" Marie yelled.
"Kissing you." Paddy said very straight.
"Well obviously!"
"What's your problem?"
"Think about it."
"You kissed me back."
"I did not!" she debated
"You did too!"
"Did not!!"
"Did too!!"
"Look, I'm not gonna play these childish games with you. What did you come here for?"
"Well I was gonna ask you if you wanted to go to a formal dance with me and the gang?"
"When?"
"Tonight, 7 to midnight."
"Well can I bring some girlfriends?"
"That was my next question."
"Okay, you guys gonna pick us up?"
"Yeah, but remember to wear something formal."
"Sure."
"See you then." And he left.

"He kissed me." she said to herself. She softly touched her lips and smiled.
