CHAPTER 21 - Together forever

"Hey Paddy, you want to go out tonight?" Angelo asked his brother over the phone.
Paddy agreed and hung up quickly, wanting to catch Marie before she left.
"Marie… wait!" Paddy screamed, waving his arms.
"Baby, want to go to Angelo's?" He asked.
"Sure." She replied, smiling up at him out of breath.
"Don't go home, please." He smiled that sideways grin of his.
"I won't, I'm coming with you silly." Marie reassured him.
She watched Paddy run up the front door. He yelled back that he wouldn't be that long, just needed to get his shoes on. Marie laughed at him, noticing that he had came after her without any shoes or socks and a pair of khaki slacks.
Moments later Paddy came running out of his front door, slamming it behind him. He jumped over the flower box and right off the cement steps into the damp grass.

"Let me drive Paddy!" Marie asked.
"Here you go!" he threw her the keys. "Don't kill us." He said.
"Didn't have time to put your shoes on?" Marie asked seeing his grass stained white socks on his large feet.
He shook his head 'no' and added: "Or my shirt."
Laughing to herself, Marie turned the car on.
"What are you giggling at?" Paddy asked.
"Oh nothing." Marie replied, turning down another side road.
She gave Paddy a quick glance then turned her attention back to the road.
"Sure." Paddy smiled, turning to face the front.
Since Marie and Paddy were together for a long time they hadn't moved in yet, but stayed with each other as much as they could.
"Looks like Jimmy is here." Paddy stated, pointing to his Fiat parked out front.
"Cool." Marie whispered, her stomach tied in knots.
"Hon, what's wrong?" He asked, turning to look at her.
The look on her face scared him, and Marie could tell by the way his eyes widened.
"Nothing… I just…" She tried to tell him, but the words in her head didn't match the words on her lips.
"What is it?" Paddy asked getting apprehensive.
He knew something was wrong.
Marie glanced up at the house and wished she could have told Paddy somewhere other then the car parked in front of his brother's house.
"Babe?" Paddy's voice choked.
He reached over and brushed her turned cheek gently, wanting to know what she was thinking about.
Marie turned around to look at Paddy, the only man she loved. Covering his hand on her shoulder with her trembling one, she looked down.
A large sigh escaped her mouth as her eyes lifted. She tucked a piece of her long light brown hair behind her ear. Oh how Paddy loved to nimble on them, but now wasn't the time or the place. He had to find out what Marie wanted to say or else he may die.
"Paddy… I'm… pregnant." Marie said in a rush, looking at him quickly before glancing at Angelo's house.
"Are you serious?" Paddy asked, a smile spreading across his face.
Nodding her head, Marie turned around blinking slowly. Just as her eyes opened, Paddy's lips meet hers.
"I can't believe this. This is great!" He gushed, loving the idea of his "little men" going to work.
"You're okay with this?" Marie uttered, not believing she doubted Paddy's feelings.
"Marie, are you crazy? I love it!" Paddy smiled, bringing her into a huge bear hug.
She couldn't help but cry tears of relieve on Paddy's shoulder.
"Baby what's wrong?" Paddy asked, hearing her silent sobs.
"Nothing, I'm just really happy." Marie revealed.
"Now you'll have to move out of your little apartment and join me in our house." Paddy laughed.
Marie wiped away her tears in a gentle swipe and smiled up at him.
"I've been trying to figure out a way for you to come stay with me permanently. Something romantic but this is better. Marie, I love you!" Paddy whispered, his voice filling with emotion and his eyes soaring with passion.
"I love you too!" Marie grinned.
"We better get inside before they worry about us." Paddy joked, opening up the passenger side door.
Marie agreed. She climbed out of her side, just in time to see Paddy run around to help her. Marie walked arm in arm with Paddy to the front door.
"Have you told anybody?" Paddy asked, as he stopped right outside the door.
"Nope, just the daddy." Marie giggled quietly.
Paddy loved the idea… him… a dad! He felt so proud, he wanted to be just like the father his dad was. But mostly he wanted to prove to Marie that he could do it, he wasn't just the young Kelly Boy who did nothing but trouble as many people reported.
"Okay, should we tell the guys?" Paddy asked, looking down into those warm brown eyes.
"It's up to you." Marie whispered, pushing her lips to his.
"We'll say what we say." Paddy breathed against her lips.

Marie grabbed a hold of Paddy's hand as he lead her into Angelo's oversized house.
'What's gonna happen next?' She thought as the bright living room lights hit her eyes.
"Hey guys!" Angelo greeted them. He was walking from the kitchen, joining Kira, Jimmy and his girlfriend Amanda in the den.
"Hey Angelo." Paddy smiled.
Marie smiled nervously at Angelo as he lead them to the den.

"Hey look who it is… Love Couple Numero Uno." Jimmy joked as they entered the room before Angelo.
Paddy laughed carelessly as he flopped down on Angelo's corner couch. He patted the seat next to him and Marie worriedly obeyed. Paddy knew something was wrong and rested his arm protectively around Marie's body. Jimmy asked Angelo something leaving Amanda to watch the evening news.
"You okay?" Paddy asked quietly.
Marie nodded her head slightly and dared to look up into those perfect blue eyes. Giving him a fake smile, she rubbed his thigh gently.
"Paddy… I" Marie said before standing up and walking to the kitchen.
Angelo and Jimmy stopped talking as soon as Marie left the room. Both men looked questionably at Paddy.
Angelo began to open his mouth, but Paddy rose to his feet and walked out the open door before he could speak. Jimmy glanced at Amanda and then back at Angelo, who only shrugged his shoulders. Paddy stepped into the dimly lit kitchen, not knowing what to expect. He saw Marie standing at the sink, her hands resting on the counter, her eyes forward staring out the window, into the darkness.
"Marie?" Paddy spoke as gently as his worried voice would allow.
She turned to him and the light reflected off the tears on her cheeks. Engulfing her in his arms Paddy rocked her slowly in the middle of the kitchen.
"Sweetie what's wrong?" Paddy asked, knowing Marie always loved it when he used little pet names.
Wiping away another tear, Marie's grip on Paddy tightened. Seconds later Paddy was convinced that she hadn't heard a word he said. Preparing to repeat himself, Paddy heard a sniffle and a few jumbled words. He pulled Marie slowly off his chest.
"What was that?" Paddy asked.
"I'm scared!" Marie said simply.
"Is that it?"
She looked at him, and he told her that it was natural to be scared and he was too.
"But Marie I love you so much, I know we can do this together." Paddy finished off with a passionate kiss to the lips.
"Oh… I love you too!" Marie whispered as her eye-lids lifted.
An evil grin spread across his face when he said.
"Let's hope you mean it and it's not just hormones from a month long pregnancy."
Marie gave him a stunned look before punching him in the gut.
"Well if you don't want my love, I bet I could find someone else." She laughed, slowly walking back to the den.
Paddy ran up behind her and wrapped his arms completely around her small body.
"Oh, I don't think so." He giggled.
"Good" Marie said quite loudly before whispering in a delicate tone "Because I don't think I could find someone worthy enough to ever take your place, no one has big enough feet to fill those shoes." As Marie confessed her deep-rooted feelings for Paddy, she took his hand and began to weave her fingers with his.

Paddy stood in the doorway to the den with Marie, the one…. his one, his only. As if the clouds parted and the sun shone down on her, Paddy knew she was the one he wanted to spend the rest of his life with. He knew that God had sent her down as his angel. Slightly blushing by her comment, Paddy leaned forward and kissed her romantically on the cheek.
The four in the den had been watching them out of the corner of their eyes, and they all agreed they were perfect for each other.
Marie whispered "Tell them" in Paddy's ear and watched his face light up.
"Really?" He double checked.
She nodded with a grin.
"Hey guys, guess what?" Paddy grinned, proudly wrapping an arm around Marie.
"What?" Angelo asked.
"Yeah come on tell us." Jimmy said, wanting to know the secret.
"I'm gonna be a daddy!"
"What??" Angelo yelled in surprise.
"Marie is pregnant!" Paddy told them again.
"Congratulations bro" Jimmy shook hands with Paddy. "I never thought that you could have it before me!" he added.
"Hmmm Paddy, congratulation!!" said Angelo.

*Five Months Later*
"Hey honey, will you bring me that new paint roller?" Marie hollered to Paddy. He was standing in the middle of his kitchen, making some peanut butter and banana sandwiches for him and his Marie. Marie moved into Paddy's.
"Yeah, just a minute. Lunch is almost ready." He screamed back.
"Oh goody, I'm getting hungry." Marie laughed, from the spare bedroom.
Putting all the food on a tray, Paddy grabbed a coke for himself and a glass of grape juice for Marie. He entered the room, set the food down and walked over to admire Marie's progress.
"How does it look?" She asked, not even turning around. Marie could always tell when Paddy was in the room, his happiness seemed to radiate and hit her, like an arrow to the center of a dartboard.
"Not too bad." He said.
"Well thanks!" Marie laughed.
"Babe you know I'm just kidding, I love it. Just hope the baby does." he smiled, smacking her butt.
Marie poked at her enlarged stomach and said in a hushed whispered.
"See what did I tell you? Your father is very abusive."
Paddy spun around and looked at Marie.
"Don't say that." His voice full of pain, even though he knew she was kidding.
"I'm sorry." Marie said, her face sinking.
Letting go of the ladder with one hand, Marie lost her balance and fell against Paddy.
"Oh my gosh Paddy I'm soo sorry." Marie apologized.
"It's okay. Are you alright? You didn't hurt yourself did you?" Paddy asked concern written all over his face.
"No I'm okay. Thank god you were close by." Marie said, allowing Paddy to sit her down on the floor.
"Marie… I'm always close by." Paddy whispered, rubbing his nose against hers in an old fashion Eskimo kiss.
Marie blushed as she looked deep into Paddy's eyes twinkling at her. His arms went around her, pulling Marie's body close to his. Feeling his cool breath on her neck, made Marie tingle.
"I love you Paddy." She whispered, when her chin found it's familiar place on his shoulder.
He looked down at her, cradled in his arms.
"Love is not the word, doesn't even come close to describe how I feel about you. You're my everything… Marie, I'm so lucky that I found you. But I don't know what I'd do if I lost you. I don't want to even think about that happening." Paddy said, giving her a giant smile.
Marie took her finger tips and gently brushed them over Paddy's cheek. She loved the way his soft skin felt, and the smell of his hair, she loved every little thing about him. Paddy watched Marie tentatively just like a child. She started playing with a golden lock flowing down in front of his eyes, when Paddy reached over and grabbed half of a sandwich. He took a bite before offering some to Marie. She opened her mouth and Paddy shoved a small portion in her mouth.
"This is really good." Marie said, with her mouth full.
"Damn girl where did you learn your manners?" Paddy asked with his mouth full too.
Pointing at Paddy, Marie laughed.
"From you."
Paddy realized that he had just done what she did and started laughing. Moments later, Marie heard a snort come out of Paddy as he flew backwards, laughing so hard tears where streaming down his face.
Marie's giggling continued, watching Paddy. She crawled up and laid on his stomach gently. Releasing a few more laughs, Paddy wiped the tears off of his face and placed his hands on her back, rubbing it smoothly.
A smirk hit Marie's face, and her hand slid behind her.
"What the… Crazy Girl what are you doing?" Paddy screeched when a wet paint-brush hit him in the face.
Marie rolled off of Paddy laughing so hard her belly shook. Paddy took her arm and wiped the sky blue paint off of his face.
"But it makes you look so cute." Marie said in between giggles.
Paddy huffed at her little joke, and grabbed his coke. He opened it up and took a big drink.
"I want some." Marie half-whined, trying to grab it from him.
"Remember the doctor told you to lay off caffeine and other sweets?" Paddy pestered, handing Marie the can.
"Damn… you have me." Paddy said with awe.
"What do you mean?" Marie asked confused. She took a sip of his coke and placed it back down by his side.
Paddy laid back down on his back, while Marie said right next to him, tracing his body with her fingers.
"I mean, you want something… I do everything in my power to get it for you, you need something… I do it without thinking twice, you shed a tear… I'm there with a tissue willing to wipe it away, when you laugh… I hope I'm the one making you smile." Paddy said, staring up at the unfinished ceiling.
"Paddy?" Marie said shyly.
"Huh?" he replied.
She smiled nervously at him, then moved her head to look out the window.
"What is it, babe?" he asked, a queasy feeling hitting his abdomen.
Marie crawled on her knees over to Paddy's side. She grabbed his hand and looked at him with her large dark brown eyes.
"Did I say something?" Paddy worried.
Shaking her head 'no', Marie opened her mouth. No words exited but her mind stirred.
"Paddy we should…" Marie chickened out, she couldn't say it.
Looking away from Paddy in shame, she couldn't believe herself.
"Tell me… please!" Paddy begged, sliding so he was sitting up.
He starred at Marie's back, seeing the shivers go down her spine. Taking his gift from inside his pocket, Paddy tapped Marie lightly on the shoulder.
She looked back at him, not moving her body. He held something in his hand, making Marie curious. She turned around and tried to open Paddy's hand. He of course wouldn't let her. Paddy pulled Marie into the living room and made her sit down on the soft couch.
"Marie" he said, getting on one knee "You know I love you… I'd die for you, walk to the ends of this earth, just to keep you safe from harm."
He looked up into her eyes, and saw them get all misty.
'Come on Kelly… just do this.' he commanded himself.
"Marie darling…" Paddy took a deep breath, as his sweaty palm grabbed Marie's "will you marry me?"
Paddy slid the simple gold band with a heart shaped diamond onto her finger, he awaited her answer.
Looking back up at her, he saw her face grinning from ear to ear, and tears running down the middle.
"Don't cry." he smiled, taking his thumb and wiping them away.
"Paddy, I'd love to!" She sighed.

*Two Months Later*
"Yeah, Patricia it's going to be formal, but not the actual getting married part." Marie told Paddy's sister over the phone.
Since she'd been living there, since they found out she was going to be having a baby. Marie received many fan letters of appreciation and good luck, some brought tears to Marie's eyes. Some told her stories, some just wished for the best even though Paddy will always be "their man". Every once in awhile, she'd open one where the fan didn't appreciate the fact that she "tamed" the sweetest Kelly member, or how they thought she was a stupid bitch, who had no right intruding in on Paddy since she was a stupid slut. Paddy walked in on Marie to many times crying over these types of letters. He knew it was the emotional part of her, but always it made him wish the so-called fans could understand. Marie meant more to him then that, they should respect that. Before he met her, it was all for the fans. Now all he worried about was his family, and sharing the joys of parenthood with his love.
"Okay, great! So it's not going to be very big?" Patricia asked, snapping Marie back from lala land.
"Yeah, just you guys, your girlfriends, wives, husbands, babies and some of my friends" Marie told her in a rush.
"Sounds like fun." Patricia laughed.
"Ouch!" Marie muttered.
"Something wrong?" Patricia asked.
"Oh… no it's nothing, just the baby kicked." Marie smiled.
"I miss this feeling. I'm glad that my Alex will have a new cousin soon."
"Yeah, our baby will have an older brother."
"Well I better let you go, see you later." Patricia announced.
"Okay bye." Marie said hanging up the phone.
'I can't believe I'm getting married tomorrow.' she smiled, hearing the front door close.
"Ssshhh she's probably sleeping." Paddy warned, carrying suitcases into a spare room next to the baby's. Marie walked to the bedroom door to see who was here. It was Johnny, Barby, Caroline, Paul and Danny.
"Paddy do you mind if I stay here?" Barby asked, knowing her brother would understand.
She always hated hotels.
"Yeah sure, you can have this room?" he said, looking over at Marie watching them with a smile.
"You have a great house Paddy" Caroline said.
"The sweetest house I've ever lived in" Marie said, startling everyone.
No one had seen her, except Paddy.
"Marie!" Barby run over to Marie hugging her tightly.
"Hey girl." Marie laughed hugging her. "It's been a long time."
"Careful" Paddy said protectively, walking over to his wife to be.

"So how are you guys?" Marie asked, sitting down on the couch. She pulled a blanket over her body, and got cozy for a nice little chat with Paddy's siblings.
"We're doing pretty good." Barby said. "I have those ballet lessons in Ireland and I just love it."
"A few weeks ago I opened a new bar and it's working pretty good." Paul said.
Paddy sat down on the couch with Marie and leaned over and rested his head on her hip.
"So how old are you getting uncle Paddy?" Rick, Paul's son's asked.
"I'm only 25." Paddy laughed.
Marie started to laugh, but then Rick said adain.
"How old is Miss Marie?"
"My age doesn't matter." she laughed.

"Well we better get going" Caroline announced after having dinner.
Paddy kissed them goodbye and walked to the kitchen to finish doing the dishes for Marie. He knew how much she hated doing the dishes, and now that her pregnancy was almost due, he didn't want her to work to hard.
"I'll walk you out." Marie said sweetly.
She wrapped one of Paddy's coats around her body, and stepped out the door. Paul sat down in the passenger seat, waving good bye to Marie before closing the door.
Johnny stood beside Marie, as if he knew she was gonna ask him something.
"Johnny?"
"Hmmm?"
Marie turned her bloated body to his.
"Will you walk me down the aisle tomorrow?"
Johnny smiled a sideways grin, knowing that Marie didn't have any family left.
"I'd be honored to." he spoke softly, patting her arm.
"Thank you so much." Marie sighed, hugging him tightly.
"Anything for family." Johnny smiled.
The two decided not to tell Paddy… a little surprise.

*Inside the House, after Marie returned*
"Ugh!" Marie groaned flopping down on the couch.
"What's wrong?" Barby asked, sitting in the recliner.
"I don't know… tired I guess." Marie smiled.
"I'm glad you're marrying my brother, even though he can be a butthead sometimes." Barby giggled, knowing that Paddy could hear her.
"Thanks, that means a lot to me." Marie said.
She stood up and said good night to Barby. Walking to her room, Marie could feel Paddy pick her up and carry her into the room.
"What are you doing silly?" she asked, after he placed her carefully on the bed.
"Practicing for tomorrow." Paddy confessed.
"Yeah you gotta carry me and my big belly, ooh there the baby goes kicking again… come here and feel this." Marie laughed, patting her stomach.
Paddy went down on his knees in front of Marie, she took his hand and placed it on her stomach. Closing her eyes, she moved his hand wherever the baby moved. Pretty soon Paddy rested his head on her stomach, listening to every little noise that Marie's body made. Marie smiled down at Paddy as she rustled her fingers through his blonde locks and then told him they better get to sleep.
"Yep, you need to rest up… you're gonna be a Kelly tomorrow." Paddy grinned proudly.
He kissed her on the cheek before turning off the light.

"Marie will you calm down." Jess instructed her friend.
Nicola came running in the room, with the bouquet with Becky right behind her.
"Damn Marie I wish you could have seen how good Paddy looked." Nicola screeched.
"Hush up girl!" Becky laughed.
"No crap, I want my man!!" Marie screamed.

"Breath Paddy." Angelo coached.
"Did you hear that?" Jimmy asked, looking at Joey putting on his shoe.
"Nope." Joey replied, fixing his tie.
"Sounded like Marie." Paddy sighed, going off into a daydream. "She's perfect." he thought out loud.
"You man stay with us here." Angelo instructed.

"My man looked good." Kira said, thinking about Angelo and his pale blue tux.
"No, I'm sorry but my man looked the best." Amanda argued, referring to Jimmy's red tux.
"Would you guys shut up? My man is the best." Tanya laughed, talking about Joey's and his purple tuxedo.
"Oh no see, mine is the main man. He's perfect." Marie sighed.
The girls giggled, looking at each other.
"Come get your dresses on." Patricia said walking in the room, seeing the girls scatter around the room.
Marie stood in the middle, wearing her long white wedding dress, smiling from ear to ear.
She smoothed out the wrinkles and walked over to Patricia.
"How do I look?" she asked.
"Honey, you look fabulous. Let me put your make-up on and you'll be set to go." Patricia gave Marie a warm smile.
Taking a seat in front a large mirror, Marie let her sister to be go to work.

Dan walked in to see Jimmy's flopped out on the couch, his feet placed on the arm rest. Johnny was helping Joey get his long hair in the tightest pony tail and Angelo was attending to Paddy in front of a large mirror.
"How's my son?" he asked.
"Which one, daddy?"
"The main man of course!"
"Not doing to well." Angelo told him.
"Why? What's wrong?" Dan asked concerned.
Paddy's face was so pale, it scared Dan.
"Paddy, what's wrong?" he asked, putting his hand on his son's shoulder.
"What if… something goes wrong? What if she doesn't love me? What if a pack of savage fans enters just when I'm about to kiss?" Paddy said in a hurry.
Everybody in the room laughed.
"Paddy, son, don't worry about a thing, we have security around the whole church. Nothing will go wrong. And you have no need to worry about love, man I don't think she's gonna marry you for your good looks." Dan teased.
"Yeah thanks dad." Paddy joked.
"Hey Jimmy, what time is it?" Paddy asked, moments later.
"Um… 35 minutes before your hitched my brother." Jimmy replied.
Paddy took a deep breath and slid into his black tux jacket.

"You guys look good." Marie gushed, when her bridesmaids and maid of honor stepped out from the dressing room.
Tanya, Amanda, and Becky all bridesmaids had long flowing lavender dresses outlined with emerald, moving with every curve. But Jess, Marie's maid of honor, wore a dress similar to the other girl's but hers came down to her feet, had a v-neck, and no back. Marie's dress was white, but had a veil and a really long train. It was tight on her body, revealing her nine months pregnancy.
Marie was a little bit self conscience, but Paddy had told her she looked beautiful no matter what in his eyes. She wished she could have seen him that morning but rules are rules.
"Ready?" Jess asked Marie, when the stood waiting for their cue.
Marie nodded apprehensively.
"Let's do this." the girls told Marie, all ready to walk down the aisle with their man.

Paddy stood down at the end of the long aisle, butterflies filling his stomach. The low music started playing and the audience turned to look. Adam walked out and joined Becky and walked slowly down the red carpet. Both were smiling to everyone. They parted, with Adam standing a good space away from Paddy but lined up with Becky. Later Jimmy and Amanda gliding down the carpet. Jimmy had his strut and Paddy almost started laughing on how well Jimmy was behaving. Next, Joey met his love Tanya at the open doorway, he linked his arm with hers and they started to walk gracefully towards.
Once all the pair were together at the alter, they turned back and watched the maid of honor and the best man walk together.
Angelo smiled at Jess and then looked ahead, towards Paddy. Walking up next to his brother, Angelo whispered "good luck" in his ear.

Once the ring bearer and the flower went up Paddy's body tightened as he looked at the open doorway, that seemed to be a million miles away. Marie walked out of the side room slowly, her hands sweating.
Glancing up at Paddy starring down at her, Marie gave him a big smile in return. Johnny walked out of the other door, and linked arms with Marie's. She placed her hand on his forearm and started walking down the aisle. Everyone rose to their feet and Paddy stood there stunned.
'She asked Johnny.' Paddy thought, seeing his bride, and his big brother walking towards him.
Over lightened with joy, Paddy's chest rose with a gigantic sigh. Oh, how he loved being there, seeing Marie beaming with pleasure. The two stopped, Marie whispered a thank you before kissing Johnny on the cheek.
"Take care of my little brother." he whispered back.
Johnny released his arm from Marie's and sat down next to Maite, in the first row.
Marie's arm automatically linked with Paddy's as they stepped forward. The priest did the usual routine of vows.
After Marie and Paddy both said 'I do', the priest announced that the Kellys were going to sing a song. Paddy looked at Angelo in a questionable look. Angelo smiled and then looked back at the rest of the band, and nodded.
"This is to our greatest siblings… Paddy and Marie."
Marie's hand squeezed Paddy's, both not knowing what was going on.

I love you more than words can say
You make me feel special in every way
You stand by me when I need you near
You hear me out and dissolve my fears

You bring me joy with who you are
You make everything that's wrong all right
The love you give me
Makes every dream of mine come true

I found all the men I need in you
You give me strength when I feel weak
You are my voice when I can't speak
You are the eyes that views in me

All the best that I can be
I am bless to be love by you
My world is a better place because of you
You lift me up when I am down

You believe in me without a doubt
Through all the lies you are the truth
Through all the rain your love shines through
You hold the keys to my heart and soul

I found all the women I need in you
You give me strength when I feel weak
You are my voice when I can't speak
You are the eyes that views in me

Forever in my life you will belong…

The Kellys ended the song and smiled proudly at Paddy and Marie. Tears were running down Marie's face, she wanted to hug them, but knew that the show must go on. Paddy wiped the tears off of Marie's face with his thumb gently. Leaning they kissed each other passionately and heard the priest say: "You may now kiss the bride." Everyone laughed, and watched the two lover birds. Their lips parted and they turned to their friends and family.
"I now announce the newly married Mr. and Mrs. Kelly!!" the priest said, smiling at the young couple.
Everyone in the room clapped, and stood to their feet. Paddy grabbed Marie's hand and they walked happily to their awaiting limo. Stepping outside, they were meet with a pack of people throwing rice and wishing them well.

"We did it!" Marie squealed when they were taken away in the white limo.
"I know, I can't believe it." Paddy smiled, kissing her on the lips. His hand rested protectively on her stomach and felt the baby kick.
"The baby is happy." Marie smiled, her lips still against Paddy's.
"So am I." Paddy sighed, referring to something else.
Marie turned around and leaned up against Paddy. Looking at her watch she was surprised to find that it was about 6:30 pm.
"Man I'm kinda tired." she confessed, slowly sliding down Paddy's chest.
Marie rested her head in his lap, and closed her eyes. Paddy sat motionless not wanting to disturb her. He saw a jolt in her body and placed his large hand on her stomach. Smiling, Paddy could feel his baby moving around. The limo driver pulled up to where the reception was going to be held and asked if they were getting out.
"Give us ten minutes." Paddy instructed.
The driver nodded and closed up the privacy window. Chuckling to himself, Paddy figured the driver thought they were doing something else besides sitting there.
The guests had arrived and most of them piled into the reception hall. The other Kellys stood outside, enjoying the fresh air. They chatted quietly among themselves before walking into the building. Paddy sat there humming to himself, when he saw Marie's eyes fluttered open.
"Hey sleepy head." Paddy smiled down at her.
"Paddy how long have I been sleeping?" Marie yawned.
"Oh I don't know, about twenty minutes." He replied.
Sitting straight up, Marie checked her hair and looked at Paddy.
"We have guests to tend to." She smiled.
Grabbing Paddy's hand she pulled him out of the limo, and they walked up the flower path.
"There they are!" Angelo shouted pointing to Marie and Paddy.
They walked through the doorway and were overwhelmed with all the people hugging them. Marie stood on one side of Paddy, and watched the line of people grow longer.
"Congratulations girl!" Jess grinned hugging Marie tightly, before moving down to Paddy.
"Welcome to the family." Angelo said, kissing Marie on the cheek.
"You surely did pick a looker." he told his brother, receiving a playful smack on the arm.
"Watch it, she's mine." Paddy laughed.
"I'm really happy for you, Paddy deserves someone like you." Patricia whispered to Marie as he pulled her into a hug.
"Thanks Pat." Marie said softly, a tear falling from Marie's eyes.
When the line was finally gone, the newly married couple sat down at a large table with the rest. Dinner was served and everyone chatted happily.
"Here ya go." Marie smiled, feeding Paddy a bite of mashed potatoes.
"Thanks, that was good." Paddy replied, kissing Marie on the cheek.
"They are so good together." Joey whispered to Tanya. She nodded and wished silently that Joey would get his butt in gear and marry her. He never asked, and she didn't know when he was going to. They have almost three years old boy. Jimmy looked at Amanda, simmering with glitter.
"I love you" Jimmy whispered, his hand resting on her thigh.
Turning to him, Amanda smiled and replied "I love you too."

*After dinner.*
"It's time for your dance." Jess told Marie and Paddy.
"Okay." they smiled.
Pushing their chairs back, they walked to the center of the dance floor. Marie gave a sign to the DJ to turn on a song.
"This is for you." she whispered to Paddy.
He smiled at her and waited for the music to start playing. 'Because you loved me' by Celine Dion started playing. Paddy took Marie's hand and they began to dance.

For all those times you've stood by me
For all the truth that you made me see
For all the joy you brought to my life
For all the wrong that you made right
For every dream you made come true
For all the love I found in you I'll be forever thankful baby
You're the one who held me up
Never let me fall
You're the one who saw me through
Through it all
You were my strength when I was weak
You were my voice when I couldn't speak
You were my eyes when I couldn't see
You saw the best there was in me
Lifted me up when I couldn't reach
You gave me faith 'cause you believed I'm everything I am
Because you loved me...
"I remember that song. Our first time…" Paddy whispered, when the music died down. Everyone clapped, and Jimmy grabbed the microphone.
"Okay here's something specially, they insisted that they get two dances. Here's Paddy's choice."
Marie looked up at Paddy, trying to read his mind.
"Dance with me babe?" he asked, holding out his hand.
Marie placed hers on top of his and walked back to the center of the floor. Paddy wrapped his arms around her body, and the music started to take them away.
"I've waited so long to find the right one to listen to this song." Paddy said.
Paddy started to sing the lyrics quietly to Marie, as they danced together as one.
We never know
What the winds of love might carry
We never know
When road ahead might seem scary
But deep inside we both know
Our love is strong enough to hold on

There'd be days
When the sun won't shine bright
There'd be nights
When the moon won't hang right
But as long as our love is there
There will be nothing we could not bare

We never know
What the winds of love might carry
We never know
When road ahead might seem scary
But deep inside we both know
Our love is strong enough to hold on

With our love
We will reach the other side
And with our love
We will break the test of time
Our destiny was written long ago
Together we'll be until we grow old

I can't promise we'll never fall
But I know in my heart we'll always get up
Together we will travel through a lifetime of love
And no matter what happens, our love will go on

We never know
What the winds of love might carry
We never know
When road ahead might seem scary
But deep inside we both know
Our love is strong enough to hold on….

The song ended, and Marie looked up at Paddy. She put her hands to the back of his neck and pulled him down. Putting her lips to his, Marie kissed him with so much passion they could feel themselves becoming one.
"I love you Paddy." Marie said loudly in the quiet room.
"And I love you Mrs. Kelly." he smiled proudly, his head resting against her forehead, and his arms hanging onto her back.
The music started playing and people filled in around them. Everyone was dancing and having a good time.

*tink tink tink*
Angelo tapped a champagne glass, to get everyone's attention.
"It's my time now… to make a toast." he smiled, holding up his glass.
Marie wrapped an around Paddy's waist as they walked over to the table.
Paddy got his champagne and handed Marie one.
"A few months ago Paddy made a really nice speech in my wedding. I wanted to pay him back, but nothing came up to my head so… it will be a crap… anyway… I'm proud of you man. I can see clearly with my own two eyes, that you're the happiest man on the earth. I want to wish you both eternal happiness and good luck on your new lives together. With that wedding I thought that I would be losing a brother, seeing how Paddy loved Marie so much, but now I know, I'm not losing him. I'm just gaining a sister. Marie, take care of this butthead and don't beat him to much for sleeping all days. I'm gonna miss the many times we spent together, Paddy, complaining about girl problems, asking for girl advises and the nights we'd pillow fights. The tours… the memories. I'll never forget. Look at me I'm crying here." Angelo finished.
"For my children Patrick and Marie" Dan said "Together forever"
Everyone toasted the glasses and Paddy wiped a couple of tears away from his eyes and walked over to Angelo.
"Thanks man." Paddy said in a hush, pulling Angelo in for a hug.
Angelo wrapped his arms around Paddy and the two men stood there, crying like babies.
"We're still gonna hang out." Paddy comforted him.
"I know, but it's not the same. We all have separate lives now. I just… I don't know." Angelo sobbed.
Marie saw her man, towering over the shorter Angelo and wanted a picture. Waddling across the dance floor to photographer, to get him to take a picture, Marie stopped right in the middle. Gripping her stomach, she slowly sat down on the floor.
